Assigning a MNS to your website

After a successful upload

After a successful DeWeb upload you should see a success message:

successfully uploaded a website at AS12v...2UgLS

This address represents that address you website was uploaded at.

To assign a MNS to your website navigate to mns.massa.net, or it's fully decentralized version mns.massa.network.

MNS uses the network your wallet is connected to. So make sure your wallet is connected to the network you uploaded your website to.

Changing MNS target

1) Minting a MNS

If you already have a MNS proceed to step 2.

If you have no MNS minted on your prefferred network than you can mint one using the UI.

2) Changing MNS Target

To have your MNS point at your website you need to change the target address.

By default this address targets the owner address.

To change the target address navigate to the MNS you want to use to your website.

Click on the pencil located on the right side of the arrow. You should see a pop-up.

Paste your website address and click save.

Your website should now be accessible using the chosen MNS.

info

You can register your DeWeb website in the DeWeb Website Registry to make it easier for users to find your website. Soon, this registry will be used to create a decentralized search engine for DeWeb websites.
